Hi, I'm Jaime!
I started Strength by Jaime Barroso, LLC in 2014 after the birth of my daughter.
My mission was and always has been to help women discover their inner strength through strength training and realistic nutrition protocols so they can set a good example for their families, look like they workout, age gracefully, optimize their health and longevity and ultimately love how they feel...forever.
I have a gift for knowing exactly what my clients need and delivering it to them in a way that is easy to digest and implement. From explaining exact lifting technique to analogies for nutrition and mindset application, I often hear things like, "I have heard this and tried to learn it before but never understood it until you explained it to me that way. That makes so much sense!"
I am a certified personal trainer through ISSA, certified online trainer through OTC, and a certified Nutrition Coach Levels 1 and 2 through Precision Nutrition.
I spun my wheels for literal decades trying to hate myself into a body I loved.
It wasn't until I learned to focus on the number on the bar OVER the number on the scale that I was able to finally put the pieces in place to build muscle, wear the crop tops with confidence, and never diet ever again. I want that for you, too.
This is an exact program I created for real-life clients who wanted to learn to lift properly but didn't know where to start. I have included optional substitutions for every exercise so that beginners and intermediates alike can use it with great success.
